For the Love of ...

Happy Valentine's Day! Can you smell the love in the air? It smells pretty strong around my house. Or maybe that's the new chocolate candle my hubby bought me. Anyway, something smells good, including my fridge, which I finally cleaned out!

Do you sense that I'm easily distracted today? I might be experiencing a sensory overload. Pretty colors, flowers, candy; it's just too much for a romance author. I might just sit down a write an epic love story today!

So let's keep this week's topic simple. What do you love?

I love:
Hubs
Family
Friends
Diet Coke
Sleep (but not after drinking Diet Coke)
Fuzzy things like robes and slippers
Books and movies
Montana
Almonds
A quiet house
A CLEAN quiet house
Music
Technology
Writing
Josh Groban's voice
Jewelry
Sunshine

Share your list of things you love with us!

And speaking of things you love, do you not love getting something for FREE? Well guess what? Generations: Wilder Times is free on Kindle this week only! Make sure you go download it, even if you've already read it. It's at #1000 in free downloads and I really want to see it get into the top 100. Spread the word!  Merci! (French seems fitting for Valentine's Day. I think I shall speak in French phrases and with a French accent all day. Oui!)

I love JEFF (Happy 14 years to us today!), my kids, dark chocolate, cheese, great vocalists (Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Renee Flemming), Reality/Competition TV shows (Biggest Loser, So You Think You Can Dance, all the singing shows...), Movies, my Clearplay DVD player (that cuts out the "bad parts" of my movies with uploaded filters--LOVE this!), reading, romantic languages (the latin-based kind), romance (the LOVE kind), a clean quiet house : ) (nothing beats that!), and my comfy cozy bed. Oh, and I love that my husband has a job! That's our favorite new thing!

I have to know--does the Kindle download work on regular computers? Like our Mac? Or an iPod? Good luck with getting into the top 100!

JazznJenna- It does work for a mac. I don't know about iPod but I downloaded it last night on my iPhone. You have to download the kindle app. There's a link for it underneath where you can 1-click purchase on the Amazon website.

I do what I love & I love what I do! I LOVE being a wife to my best friend & a mom to my fun kids. I love playing outside with my family & eating dinner with them inside & cuddling on the couch as a big happy group. I love laughing. From the gut. I love that I get to do that often. I love lifting & serving people & being an answer to someone's prayers. I love the transcending power of music to bring out the best thoughts in us & to inspire us to greater loving & living. I love quiet time with myself. I love doing hard things. I love being active. I love seeing God in all things and waiting upon the Lord. I love receiving revelation line upon line, precept upon precept. I love how our Father lets us work and ponder and study and pray in order to qualify for meaningful understanding. I love the beautiful intricacies of marriage. I love its purpose in helping us develop Christ-like attributes & to learn how to become one with our spouse so we can know how to become one with God. I love life! I love love. And I love Devree!!

I love hearing how wives loves their sweethearts! I truly love mine and my fun children and love homeschooling them. I love Family Reunions. I also love, musicals, great books, rainy days and Sunny Days, red licorice, Disneyland, macayos chips and Shirley Temples (the drink) and her movies. I love how I feel after a good day of outdoor activities with my family or being gathered on our "comfy couch" and watching a good movie. I love how I feel after doing service. I love a good massage. I also love the feeling of fixing something by myself but also love it that my husband can and does fix those things so that I usually don't have to! Ü
Most of all I love My Savior and My Heavenly Father who has blessed me with ALL of the things that I love!

It's been fun thinking of all the things I love. This will have to be a condensed version! I love pink sunsets, rain while it's sunny, being warm while snowshoeing but having cold cheeks, (face cheeks, that is!)music so beautiful it makes you cry, music that makes you have to get up a dance, all my family home for dinner, my family traveling in the car together going somewhere fun, parents who are wonderful examples, siblings who make me want to be better, Sundays, Sunday naps, prophets and apostles, the Book of Mormon, my Savior and my loving Heavenly Father. This list could go on and on. Thanks, Lori, for challenging us all to stop and recognize all the great things we have!
